MEPCO consumers who are unable to pay full bill amount can get the extension in the due date to pay their Electricity bills. Also MEPCO facilitates the consumers to pay electricity bill amounts in installments. However, it involves some procedures to be followed.
Extension of due date and installments of MEPCO bills are approved by the competent officers, depending upon the amount of the Bill.
The billing amount extension and installment details, along with the information of the qualified officer to authorize the request, are displayed in the table below.

Consumers can follow the above chart to get extension in due date of bills as well as to approve installments plans from the authorized Personnel.
Users are advised to consume less energy during peak hours to avoid extra amount added to their electricity bills. Similarly industrial consumers should plan their working hours accordingly.
