Electricity Consumers of MEPCO covered areas should follow the below timings of Peak hours to avoid extra tariff charges in their bills. The timings other than these will be considered as off-peak hours and normal unit rate shall be applied.

| December to February | 5 PM to 9 PM | Remaining 20 Hours will be off-peak hours. |
| March to May | 6 PM to 10 PM | Remaining 20 Hours will be off-peak hours. |
| June to August | 7 PM to 11 PM | Remaining 20 Hours will be off-peak hours. |
| September to November | 6 PM to 10 PM | Remaining 20 Hours will be off-peak hours. |
